The Dishwasher is responsible for proper use, care, and maintenance of the dish machine. The Dishwasher is also responsible for minor interior and exterior maintenance (snow & ice removal, trash removal).
The Dishwasher is required tokeep a clean supply of dishware, glassware, and silverware as well as an adequate supply of utensils for the kitchen. He/she must also perform various maintenance clean-up functions, such as general cleaning, or any other related duties assigned by Management, while ensuring that all safety and sanitation standards are maintained.
Wash dishes, glasses, utensils, pots, and pans using dish machines or by hand.
Ensure all cleaned items are properly sanitized and stored in designated areas.
Maintain cleanliness of the dishwashing area, including sinks, drains, and floors.
Assist kitchen staff by keeping workstations stocked with clean equipment.
Dispose of trash and recycling in accordance with health and safety guidelines.
Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment and surfaces as directed.
Follow proper sanitation procedures and comply with local health department regulations.
Practice safe handling of cleaning chemicals and equipment.
Report any maintenance or safety issues to supervisors immediately.
Work closely with cooks, prep staff, and servers to maintain workflow during busy periods.
Communicate when supplies are low or equipment is malfunctioning.
Support closing or opening tasks as assigned.
Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 40 lbs for extended periods.
Ability to work evenings, weekends, or holidays as required.
Strong work ethic and reliability.
Ability to follow instructions and work efficiently.
Previous experience in a kitchen or restaurant environment (not required).
Knowledge of basic sanitation and food safety practices.

Hourly Rate (Standard): $13 – $17 per hour
